Ready State...?

The beginning of CrossFit 27:17 almost 9 full months ago. My mom in the middle is the only one still training with us. Thomas (my brother on the left moved to birmingham) will be here saturday for the event. You all will get to meet the nicer of the two brothers!

How fit are you? Just because you workout or much less CrossFit does that make you fit?
Do you have any nagging injuries that you are avoiding addressing?
How's your diet? What plays a part in being fit?

I think my time was 9:41?

I am still not "fit", but i cant even begin to explain how much my endurance and strength has increased since starting crossfit 4 months ago. I am still unsure what "Fit" really is, so i am sure that i must not be there yet.

My right shoulder is worthless. Hurts all the time. I am trying to avoid surgery.

My diet is ok... I didnt do to well with the whole "Gluten Free" thing... Sandwiches are a staple of my life. Other than that, i have been doing pretty well at watching what i do and don't eat more closely. No fried foods, very very limited sugars... no deserts. Eating lots of protein. Since starting Crossfit, i am sleeping much better, i wake up full of energy, i stay focused at work better during the day, and i have brought my coffee consumption down from 6 cups a day to 1. Don't know how much of that is due to my diet, but that is the only thing i have changed, so some credit must be due.

Crossfit is great. I never ever thought that i would look forward to waking up at 5:30 in the morning for anything other than hunting, much less working out!

    Happy 9 month anniversary.

  2. Happy 9-month anniversary Mike. Keep up the good work.

I am addicted to Crossfit; never saw that coming.

My endurance and strength have grown considerably in the last 3 months.

As far as diet is concerned, I am not nearly as disciplined as Clark is. I will keep trying to work on it!
